I toured with Youngblood Brass Band for a few days in November. We started at Drom in New York then drove to Boston then to Washington D.C. Here are a few show shots from the shows!

Family Lifestyle Session – Madison, Wisconsin
I’ve been getting to know Marcia the last few weeks because I see her for chiropractic care. She’s full of so much amazing knowledge! I could talk with her for days. This session was exciting because I finally met her husband and adorable 4-year-old. We started at Schuster’s Farm in Deerfield, but boy, on a Sunday afternoon in October, that place is nuts! I found an alternative spot that was quiet and lovely just down the road with all sorts of fun things. We ended the session back at Schuster’s picking pumpkins. I think we got some cute ones.

Not only do I photograph this family every year, but I had the honor of photographing their daughter’s birth a few years ago. They’ll be having their second in a few months and I can’t wait to be there for them again. : ) Love this family.
Lifestyle Session and Surprise Engagement!
I’ve known this family since high school so it was really fun to photograph them for a few hours on an early Saturday morning in August. This family is so full of joy and laughter! I couldn’t stop laughing myself. They are always having a great time.
The plan was to take some portraits of various family members together and then to take some candids of the family just hanging out since a few were from out of town. They were having a send off party for Jerry later on that day because he was going into the Navy.
I started off taking taking photos of the parents and a few others that were there because Jerry and his girlfriend hadn’t arrived yet … All of a sudden the dad said quietly, “Jerry’s proposing to Laura today.” “Eek!! How cool! Thank you for the heads up.” : ) A few minutes later Jerry and Laura showed up so it was their turn to have their picture taken. After a few clicks of the shutter, Jerry got down on one knee and proposed to Laura. A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.
