This year definitely didn’t top my experience of last year’s race due to a lack of teammates, but it was still humorous to run alongside the dedicated mushers.

This was just for fun, of course. I wish I could do this sort of thing and get paid for it. That would be the life. This coming weekend, I’m driving up to Waconia, Minnesota to photograph more show choir!!
Show Choir!!
I went to the Milton Show Choir Invitational this past weekend. It was amazing! I’ve never seen show choir, except when we watched my Iowa roommate’s videotapes from when he was in show choir. Instead of photographing the whole event, I wanted to follow one group. When I was flipping through the program, I noticed the choreographer of a group was someone I photographed in the Dance Department at Iowa! I went to find her, but found out that she wasn’t there. But, I met some parents and the director. He was very kind and allowed me to follow the group from Waconia, Minnesota. I would definitely love to keep photographing them!

Norway
I just found this image in my photos from Norway that I wanted to post on here but forgot. It was a pretty interesting scene; run-down bus that was full of people with one guy dressed as Superman smoking a cigarette in front of three boys holding balloons. I stood there for a few minutes shooting.
Santa Claus Pub Crawl
I absolutely love photographing random events; events like, the Santa Claus Pub Crawl. How could I pass that up? The group that calls themselves, SantaCon, gets together on the first Saturday in December every year to parade around downtown Madison dressed from head to toe as Santa Claus. Some people were very creative. I love it!
