Sally & Matt’s Wedding
I don’t photograph too many weddings each year so it was a treat to photograph Sally and Matt’s wedding. Their wedding was gorgeously set out in the country at Badger Farms just outside Cottage Grove. What a fun couple to photograph.

Shadow Armada 2011
Every summer I look forward to spending a few weeks documenting the Oregon Marching Band. This year the organization had the opportunity to travel to Alberta, Canada to compete. in Calgary and Edmonton. We performed in two parades, four competions, perused the fifth largest shopping mall in the world, wandered around the Calgary Stampede and filled an I-Max theater to see the final Harry Potter movie. What an exciting few weeks. I have to say, Canada is quite a lovely place and the Oregon Marching Band is quite an extraordinary group of teengers!!

Summer is Finally Here!
I’m shooting more video of the band this summer compared to the past, which I’m super excited about! It’s hard to keep making the dvd different and better each year, but this year’s will definitely top all others. Here are a few stills from the Sun Prairie show this past weekend. Lynne is so generous! I asked her if I could bring a few of my family members who were visiting from Colorado last Friday. Three car loads later, half of my family ended up going. We had 4 bags of carrots so everyone was very happy! Latvia is pregnant…about to deliver any day now!

Posh Pizza Party – July Madison Magazine
Not only does the July issue announce the Best of Madison winners, it also features a posh pizza party instead of the usual home of the month. This was so much fun (and tasty) to shoot! Alessandro Monachello and Francesco Mangano (who’s also executive chef/co-owner) of Osteria Papavero were the pizza experts at the party.
